The Black Women in Sport Foundation (BWSF) is dedicated to facilitating the involvement of Black women in every aspect of sport through the Òhands-onÓ development and management of programs.

 

The Next Step Program:  Is an exciting program for ethnic minority women coaches.

 

Program Specifics:

 

WHAT:     A one-day workshop designed to empower minority women coaches in all

       sports

 

WHEN:     Saturday, April 19th, 2008

 

WHERE:  Kansas City, Hyatt Regency Crown Center

 

WHY:        Minority women coaches are under represented at all levels from high school

                   to college – from Division I to Division  III

 

HOW:                   The Next Step Program will focus on:

á      Jobs in sports and where to find them

á      Presenting with strength and confidence

á      Networking opportunities with coaches and administrators

á      Internal motivation

 

Costs:         BWSF is invested in your development.  All workshop materials

                     are provided at no cost to participants.

 

Your Investment:  Travel to Kansas City, MO. 

                                    Lodging at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center (If needed).

                                    All meals excluding lunch.

 

Who is Eligible to Participate:  All minority women coaches interested in taking the

                                                           NEXT STEP in their career.
